The Mountain paid tribute to the late Cardinal Sfeir with a large delegation presented by the Chairman of the Democratic Party, MP Taymur Jumblatt.
The delegation to the patriarchal edifice comprised approximately 500 people, with the participation of ministers and deputies of the Democratic meeting, the leadership of the Progressive Socialist Party, as well as mayors, mukhtars, clerics, leaders of clubs and civil societies. A large number of citizens, including sons and daughters of Jabal al-Druze villages, brought the numbers to over 2000.

Representatives from Aley District included Education Minister, Akram Chehayeb and Ghazi Aridi.
